2010 Plowing Frolic and

Tintype Demonstration

John Bernaski joined the Asbury Farmhands for the annual Plowing Frolic on April 10, 2010.

Charles Napravnik and Mary Tolmie demonstrated the finer points of plowing with Tom and Mr. Pickles, the Belgian Draft horses and a number of guests were able to take the reins behind the plow. More photos from the event will be posted shortly.

John Bernaski practices wet collodian plate photography and was on hand to make tintypes in the 19th century tradition. Examples of his fascinating work and detailed photos of his technique will be published here in May.
